database’ ini yapılandirmaz. Switchleri vu sekilde ÇALISMASI VTP Mode Transparent olarak<br />
adlandirilmistir. Bu modda çalısan Switchler VTP domaine katilmazlar.<br />
Güvenlik açısından VTP domainlerine password verilebilir. Bu durumda password o<br />
domain de bulunan bütün switchlerde configure edilmelidir.<br />
Gönderilen VTP mesafları VTP database’ inden revision numarası ile birlikte tutulurlar,<br />
her mesaj ile bu numara artirilir. Daha büyük bir revision numarası ile gelen bilgiler switchler<br />
tarafindan daha yeni olarak Kabul edilir ve gelen VLAN bilgileri eskilerinin üzerine yazılır.<br />
Buraya kadar anlattiklarımızin isiginda VTP domainlerinde switchlerin 3 ayrı modda<br />
çalısabileceklerini soyleyebiliriz.<br />
